Life Elevated

Re-post of an earlier ARNION MINISTRIES'  blog post.

Life Elevated

Your beginnings will seem humble,so prosperous will your future be.                                                                                                                                  Job 8: 7-9 Msg

In the Kingdom of God we live life on an elevated level. I do not necessarily mean in a material sense, but in a spiritual sense. Life lived on a higher plane, sanctified, purified a holy life. And do not think this is something that you can not achieve with the help of the Lord. Life elevated to a level in which you are walking with god on a daily basis, all day long. Life elevated in which His Presence is evident.Life elevated in which your every move and thought is ,” How can I please God in this which I do?” Life elevated in which God is the sustenance of your life, the core of your being in tne with Him. Life elevated in which he is the very banner which goes before you.

Deuteronomy 31:8

The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.

And again:

God is striding ahead of you. He's right there with you. He won't let you down; he won't leave you. Don't be intimidated. Don't worry."

                                             Deuteronomy  31:8  (MSG)

An elevated life is one in which your every sense is alive in Him! This is so far above and beyond simple material blessings. Do not limit yourself. There is so much more to God than that! An elevated life is blessed in that sense. But material goods are no indication of a life lived in harmony with God! Do not be deceived.

1 Timothy 6:5 (The Message)

The Lust for Money

2-5These are the things I want you to teach and preach. If you have leaders there who teach otherwise, who refuse the solid words of our Master Jesus and this godly instruction, tag them for what they are: ignorant windbags who infect the air with germs of envy, controversy, bad-mouthing, suspicious rumors. Eventually there's an epidemic of backstabbing, and truth is but a distant memory. They think religion is a way to make a fast buck.

In the Kingdom in which one lives an elevated life there is to be found other characteristics: “Righteousness, Peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.” Romans 14:17

An elevated life, even the higher life lived in the power and under the unction of the Holy Ghost is just what is missing for those of us who are “weary in well doing”. You are living beneath your means is the problem. You need MORE of God! We all need MORE, MORE,MORE! Not more “things”, it is not about retail therapy for a temporary fix. A fix in which you feel better for the moment because of a new outfit, meal, house only to wonder why something is STILL missing. Your flesh will NEVER be satisfied.

God would say “More of Christ”, ( including the cross) to you! Have we been willing to pay the price, REALLY willing to pay the price for an elevated life? For an elevated life means our plans and goals are counted but dung, and we tell Abba Father, “Thy Kingdom come, THY will be done”. I once heard the quote “When you lay down your life, you pick up gifts.” When one is anchored in Christ the material blessings will not get him or her “off” or so caught up that they end up shipwrecked. This elevated life in Christ is so very valuable, that nothing and no one can surpass it. God’s love is priceless!

It takes one into the rafters, into an elevated life.

Acts 17:28

28 ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’

We are His off spring, Children of the King , heirs and joint heirs with Christ. Called to live an elevated life in Him, Our lives being “Hid with Christ in God.” (Colossians 3:3)

And Christ is on the right hand of the Father. Therein lays the elevated life! I will write it again: We simply have to pay the price of more of Christ. God I need more of you! Help me to be willing to pay the price. Make me willing to be made willing! Oh! I know it is worth it. I KNOW it is! I am not a “prosperity preacher” in the stereotypical sense. My desire for you and I is a life of prosperity, kingdom prosperity through Christ Jesus. Everything we need is in the Kingdom! We are to be so spiritually prosperous in Him, that our beginnings seem humble in comparison. My desire right now is a boundless life elevated and all that comes with that, Christ-centered, for the Body of Christ. Selah!

Amen,

Alpha Commands

Re-post of an earlier Arnion Ministries' blog post.

               Alpha Commands

For I delight in your commands because I love them.

                                                                                               Psalm 119:47

Praise the Lord, Beloved of God,

Have you ever heard the statement, “You learn when you teach”? As an educator, I know this is true. There is so much knowledge, data, and information out there! I need a classroom environment conducive to learning for my 6th grade students. We promote Best Behavior standards in our classroom. One strategy I have learned of looks at behavior commands: Alpha Commands versus Beta Commands. For our purposes, I will look at Alpha commands because that is what caught my eye. I saw some connections that I will share.

Alpha Commands

Uses a minimal number of words

Clear, concrete, specific

Offers a choice when possible

Reasonable amount of time for behavior to occur

When I read this I thought,” God gives US “Alpha Commands”! That makes sense, after all, He is the Alpha and the Omega, and everything in between. Bless God! Let me show you what I mean. Alpha Commands use a minimal number of words. Abba Father does that:

1 Peter 1:15

But as the One Who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all your conduct and manner of living.

Yes! I would say that is an alpha command for our behavior. Or how about this one for a minimal number of words:

I John 5:21

Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

That is short, sweet, and to the point. To obey it is to change some behaviors, for sure! Here are a few more:

Proverbs 4:23

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

1 Thessalonians 5:17

Pray without ceasing.

Philippians 4:4

Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.

Alpha commands, one and all, from the Spirit of God! And meant for our good. Moving on to the next category, Alpha Commands are clear concrete, and specific. Yes, they are:

Genesis 1:3

And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.

That scripture meets the criteria! God commanded and it was done. Period! Clear, concrete, and specific. What about this behavior changing Alpha Command:

Luke 12:29-32

29 And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. 30 For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. 31 But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well. 32 “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.

We are not to worry about life’s basics. Abba Father knows exactly what you and I need. Do you want to live out of the kingdom within you? These are clear, concrete commands. Alpha Commands! Seek the things of God first, seek His Kingdom. Abba specifically says He takes pleasure in giving us the Kingdom. I have said it before: Everything we need is in the Kingdom of God within us! God help us to receive that truth more profoundly! Amen. Of course, most of us think of the Ten Commandments in Exodus 20 when we connect Commandments with God. The ultimate alpha commands! But they are summed up so simply, so “clear, concrete, and specific” in the “Golden Command”:

Matthew 22:36 - 40

36"Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?" 37And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38This is the great and first commandment. 39And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets."

We are to love God spirit, soul, and body! It is so easy to love God! He is so wonderful, and faithful, and merciful, and beautiful, and good, and kind, and generous,….I could go on and on. So could you! The Ten Commandments are embedded in loving our neighbor as ourselves. Matthew 22:36-40 is an alpha command, par excellence! The fact is, God is the creator of alpha commands. There are many thoughts and strategies used in secular arenas that come straight out of the eternal principals of the Holy Bible. The Holy scriptures are full of godly wisdom to help us walk out our lives in such a way as to please our Father in heaven. That is why He commands “keep yourselves from idols” and to not put anything before Him. Let us “diligently keep” our hearts and make time to read the Bible daily! That leads me to another alpha command characteristic: It offers a choice when possible:

Deuteronomy 30:19 (The Message)

19-20 I call Heaven and Earth to witness against you today: I place before you Life and Death, Blessing and Curse. Choose life so that you and your children will live. And love God, your God, listening obediently to him, firmly embracing him. Oh yes, he is life itself, a long life settled on the soil that God, your God, promised to give your ancestors, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

God gives us a choices. We have free will to choose life or death, blessings or curses. “Choose life” says God, that the Abrahamic covenant blessings from which we are to partake come upon you. Love, embrace and obey God! That, too, is our choice:

Joshua 24:15

And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the LORD, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."

Choices Beloved! I am joining in with Joshua, “But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Those words are framed and hanging on my wall as I type! Obeying God’s commands leads to Deuteronomy 28: 1-14 “blessed coming out, and blessed coming in.” The choice is ours. I admit I wondered if this teaching was too “elementary” as Apostle Paul wrote. Even a baby Christian knows we are to obey God. Is this the “milk” of the Word and not the “meat” a mature Christian need? But that is just it! We think we already know that, “I have already heard that.” You have heard it, but are you doing it? The Bible says, “ Those who think they know something do not yet know as they ought to know.” (I Cor. 8:1 -3). Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up and encourages one to grow up to his full stature in Christ Jesus. Only God knows it all! This is what He impressed upon me and so I share. I tell my students that it is sometimes the “easy” skills that trip them up. Why? Because they get careless, lax, skip steps. “Oh, yeah! I forgot to simplify the fraction.” We need to “simplify”, too. It’s been said, “God makes it easy, man makes it hard.” I have to believe there is a reason Abba has us looking at his “alpha commands” and is reminding us to obey them. If we love Him. Perhaps it is this last alpha command characteristic: Give a reasonable amount for behavior to occur.

Isaiah 55:6 (Amplified Bible)

Seek, inquire for, and require the Lord while He may be found [claiming Him by necessity and by right]; call upon Him while He is near

Now is the day of Salvation! (II Cor 6:2 ;Gen. 6:3), and God will not strive with man forever.

“But I am saved!”, you say. That is not what Father is speaking of today. It is the engrafted Word of God which is able to save our souls. Our souls: the seat of our emotions, feelings, and thoughts. And in turn our actions and creative words. The Word Abba is emphasizing today is “obey my commands.” Obey from a heart of love:

1 John 5:3

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

To one who loves him keeping His commands is not troublesome, burdensome, or oppressive. You know, dear ones, God alone knows why He is stressing this point to us. I have come to know that we must love God the way he desires and needs to be loved! As we wrote earlier, love, obey and embrace Him. It is so simple and Abba Father is sharing His heart with us. There may even be an element of a warning! Let us take heed and “hear the conclusion of the whole matter” with one of my favorite passages of scripture ( emphasis mine):

Ecclesiastes 12:13 (Amplified Bible)

All has been heard; the end of the matter is: Fear God [revere and worship Him, knowing that He is] and keep His commandments, for this is the whole of man [the full, original purpose of his creation, the object of God's providence, the root of character, the foundation of all happiness, the adjustment to all inharmonious circumstances and conditions under the sun] and the whole [duty] for every man.

Amen,

Graced of God

Posted on May 11, 2020 at 4:40 PM

From an earlier Arnion Ministries blog post:

Where of I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

         Ephesians 3:7

Graced of God

"Blessed and hightly favored!", has become an automatic response for some when asked, "How are You?". While that may be a true statement and is a good confession when spoken out of one's spirit and in faith, there is more. John 1: 14 reads "And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace [favor, loving-kindness]and truth." Here we see that another aspect of FAVOR is grace.

Grace means favor. In further digging on this subject, I learned that " favor is of many kinds."

Favor shown to the miserable we call mercy; favor shown to the poor we call pity; favor shown to the suffering we call compassion; favor shown to the stubborn we call patience: But favor shown to the unworthy we call GRACE! (Bullinger, p. 135). We are " Being justified without a cause by His grace. By grace we are saved through faith. But Abba had me looking at being "favored" in a different light today. It is to be graced, graced of God! Webster's says grace is "A Divinely given talent or blessing." Abba Father wants us to see that aspect of being favored where we are graced, equipped, if you will, to be about His business! He graces us to do what He has called us to do in Kingdom authority. From The Great Commission, to teaching Sunday school, to laying on of hands. It is all done in His grace," an excellence or power granted by God" that enables us to do anything at all for Him. And apart from Him, we can do nothing. There is a lost and dying world out there! The harvest is ripe! We are to take the gifts, and "talents" whether it be one or five, and bless others through ministry and sharing the gospel. The "good news" is to be spread abroad. We have been graced as "ministers of reconciliation" to do just that. I want you to know that, yes, you ARE "highly favored"! But a facet of that favor is the grace to tell someone about Jesus according to Mark 16:15 - "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Amen.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ,

the Love of God, and the

communion of the Holy Ghost

be with you all,

John 13:3-15

Peace to you Beloved of God,

The Body of Christ is approaching an important remembrance, one in which we emphasize Jesus' ultimate sacrifice and great victory: His ministry, death, burial, resurrection, and ascension. We will remember Jesus on Resurrection Sunday. Because he died and rose again, we also have a hope of glory! It is a special time for me, too, because it is my spiritual birthday. I came to a saving knowledge of Christ and was baptized in Jesus' Name on Resurrection Sunday eighteen years ago.! Glorrrry! Today as I was listening to the Word, John 13:3 - 15 jumped out at me. One's feet are symbolic of your walk, your life. Have you ever shared your faith with someone and they replied," I have to get myself together before I come to God or go to church."?? I know you told them the Bible says, "Come as you are." Here we see that we have to let Jesus "get us together". He does the washing of our lives, our "feet". Peter had to get that revelation. Jesus IS Lord, and it is because of his great humility born of compassion for us that He did and does "wash our feet". Through faith in Jesus, we are made "completely clean", born again! "One who has bathed," Jesus told him," doesn't need to wash anything except his feet, but he is completely clean. You are clean, but not all of you." His is a completed work. In verse 14 Jesus tells Peter if He as our Lord and teacher, washed our feet/cleansed our walk we ought to do the same thing. " I have set you an example", He said. We are to continue in the act of helping one another walk out our Christianity in cleanliness and purity of life. How? The same way Jesus did! His whole life was our example: He constanty leaned on Abba Father, was led of the Spirit, spoke and obeyed the Word, operated in the fruit and gifts of the Spirit, communed (prayed) to Abba and did only what He saw his Father do as a result of it. Jesus is our exemplar, do "just as I have done" He tells His disciples.(vs.15). That would be US, too! We are to wash one another's lives/"feet" as he did through teaching, preaching, modeling, and obeying the Word. It is the Word which implanted and rooted [in our hearts] contains the power to save our souls. (James 1:21) Our Spirits are saved but our SOULS, our thoughts, desires, and actions are a work in process! It is a life-long process. We have to hold one another accountable. The Body of Christ must let Jesus, the Word made flesh, keep washing our feet! We can talk the talk, but we have to walk the walk, and we have to do it with clean feet: Holiness!

Ephesians 5:26

that he might sanctify her, to make her holy, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,

Blessings!

God-Gripped

Prophetess Vickie Lee:  OriginallyPosted on Friday, January 10, 2014 2:06 AM

God-Gripped

For my yoke is easy, and my  burden is light

                                                                                                           Matthew 11:30

Grace mercy and peace, beloved of God!

"What do you have or want to say to your people?", I've been asking Abba. I wasn't really getting anything. But in prayer the other morning, He had me to know that the mission He has me on, my "job, is to hold on to His hand. It was so sweet and intimate. Sometimes we wonder if we are hindering God in some way. He answered that query by asking, "Are you open?" When I said, "Yes!", we proceeded to have such a glorious encounter. Beloved, that is God's "mission" for us. Yes, without a doubt, there is a call, there has been increase, He has revealed plans and purpose and there is equipment. That is not God's priority, though. God is in love with us, and He wants to know that He is OUR priority, too. His focus is NOT speaking engagements, not gifts of the Spirit, not a platform, or some sort of "name" as a minister. But, his heart is '"Are you open to me?" Are we open to Him, to MORE of Him? In the sense of His being in a deeper place in our HEARTS and lives. And in the depths of our beings. All He wants is a yielded, "Yes" from us. I am just sharing about this encounter with Him. He had me to know that my "job" is to hold on to His hand. I believe that applies to all of us! Just enjoy Him and His Presence in our lives. The thing is, if I am holding His hand, if He has a grip on me, if I am grasping Him: It does impact those other areas I wrote about so far as ministry. And it is so needed! My God! We live in a time when the enemy is bold enough to come INto the sanctuary of God's house strategically early, sit in the middle of the center row of the center section, and mock God. "Not so!", says God. The people of God are to be bold as a lion! Such a spirit is to find God’s people are prayed up and ALREADY interceding and worshipping. The atmosphere ALREADY set and spiritually charged! The enemy will not shut down GOD”S house. We’ve been holding hands with Him! POWER! When we lift up God saturated hands the enemy himself is shut down in the Presence of God we carry. He has to get up out of there and don't come back! God forbid anything less and that’s what He is doing in his desire for intimacy and open spirits with his people. Just hold on to His hand! I am trying to be clear: There must be a purity of motive. It has to be genuine. This is not about showboating. But it is about God showing Himself strong! Nurture the love relationship with Him on purpose. Oh, how He loves to share Himself with us! God is affectionate! God is love. As I see that I am holding His hand, I realize when I lay that same hand on another, I am laying HIS hand. The power of God flows! Yokes are destroyed, baptisms of His Spirit ministered, the halt and crippled walking pain-free. The blind eye opened, shut-up wombs opened and fruitful. Light shining where there was once darkness and even death. Effective ministry! We are HIS hands in the earth realm. But, that is secondary. It is a blessing that flows out of that intimate love relationship with Him. Too many feel that they are "loving" Him by being busy about ministry. Even if they are burned out and even if it is a routine, predictable, boxed-off "program", even if it is powerless and not much fruit is evident. The missing thing is the true "job" of holding on to God's unchanging hand. There is no anxiousness in that. A peace comes. His yoke is easy and a lightness of spirit comes. There is no need for us to feel a constant sense of urgency. Nothing to prove to anyone, no one to impress. Just love on Him! One begins to recognize the vessel aspect of his or her being. God Himself is pouring into us in all that time of intimacy. And rest assured, when the time comes to minister to or encourage someone, that full "vessel of mercy" will be able to draw from what has been imparted through the "hand holding". God knows exactly what He is doing. The anointing is for the sheep. And being usable comes out of that intimacy. Understand: God first! Don't you love it?!? I feel so free! I pray that you do, too. I journaled that He is in control, stay on the job. I go about my life knowing that He can and does use me anywhere He wants. No need to try to make something happen, not trying

to figure things out. The Lord will perfect that which concerns me. (Ps. 138:8). But my job is to BE His hand, by holding ONTO His hand. Now that is being led of His Spirit! Therein lies the power needed to truly touch and change peoples' lives. So, stay worshipful, touch HIM, hold His hand by ministering to Him. I can feel His hand and I can feel the stirring in my belly, in my spirit, of the wind of His Presence. Jehovah-Shammah! I rest in Him as to the release of the wind. But it is blowing! Let's be free in Jesus...even as He holds our hands...and available! For two days I have been saying, "MY job is simply to hold on to His hand." It is about being yoked to Him. That's it! It's so easy! Being "God-gripped" comes out of worship and fellowship with Him. I do not know about you, but I'm on a mission! Join me! Our hands in God's, His hand upon us! Open to God. Amein.

Just sharing,

Prophetess Vickie Lee

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth out of the house of the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim.

Peace be to you, Beloved,

Abba summoned me to prayer this evening. It was clear He had something to share that I am, in turn, to share with you. As I communed with Him, I saw a drop of water, just one drop that caused a ripple to begin on the water in which it fell.“There’s a ripple on the water", I heard. A ripple is water agitated by a breeze: It is to stir up water into waves as by wind. The wind of the Holy Spirit is doing a shaking, a light agitation. He is so powerful all it takes is "one blast of His nostril”. Then Abba took me to Joel 3 and the 18th verse was quickened to me. This passage of scripture speaks of “new wine” dropping down: The flow is from the Kingdom of God. There has just been this emphasis on new wine and the fact that we are to tap more fully into the Kingdom of God! The people of God are to impact the world out of the fullness of the Holy Spirit, with His gifts and graces in operation. It is something he alone does, and so the ripple on the water is from Him. Still in all, we have to discern and be aware of the ripple, for it a “gentle agitation.” It speaks to knowing His voice, to being led of and walking in the Spirit. We have to respond to the ripple, and we have to desire it. “The hills shall flow with milk” the scripture says. This alludes to the promise land for the people of God, a place of abundance and blessing. Yes, we are to be blessed in the natural, but I think you know me well enough by now to know that is not my focus. All of that shall be added to us as we continue to seek the Kingdom of God. The abundance I write about is the blessings of the gospel, teaching blessings of the principals of God’s Word. To be founded on the Word, to believe it and do it is to be a Kingdom person! That is the “promised land.” All true believers are called those “who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” ( Hebrews 6:12). We are” heirs of the promise” (v.17) There are some promises in Joel 3:18 and I just shared one: Abundance. Another promise we can expect because of the ripple on the water is the refreshing power of the Holy Spirit as we praise God, for “Judah” means “May God be praised”. The praises of God’s people rippling and flowing together like tributaries, forming rivers of living water. How Abba desires the unity of such an act! Consistently! Why? Because it sets the atmosphere for the waters of life to flow. Holy Spirit desires to flow through his people! I do not think it is an accident that “waters” is symbolic for all of the nations of the earth. Have you ever noticed how powerfully God moves when "the nations," people of ancestry from every continent worship on one accord, in Spirit and in truth? Powerful! God is God of the nations, and such worship greatly pleases Him. We are one in the Spirit! What is the result of these rippling “streams” flowing together? Still another promise: The people of God, His “house” become a fountain, a source of satisfaction. The Presence of God, the rivers of living waters like a thirst-quenching, cool glass of water for dry and thirsty souls! Abba wants there to be a gushing and springing forth of living waters. Life! The life of God. We are to “drink abundantly” and thirst no more. Souls He sends are to find times of refreshing in the house of the Lord. Abba Father is saying something more and there is a reason He has caused there to be a ripple on the water. How can his house be a source of the waters of life if there is a dryness? For you see Shittim mentioned in this scripture was a very dry valley in Biblical times. Do not be offended. Even in the natural, I have read, if one waits until they are actually physically thirsty, one is already dehydrated. Water is needed before thirst sets in. There is a need for Holy Ghost hydration! The promise, and you know the word “Shall” throughout this passage means a promise, is that Abba wants to "water” us. That is what I believe I saw with the ripple on the water. That dry place is being moistened, even irrigated. I encourage you to take heed and drink heartily of the Spirit of God. Let us be so full of His Spirit that the exhilaration is akin to being drunk! Have you ever been “drunk” in the Spirit"? We need a “this is that” flow!

Acts 2:14-18

But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

God’s Spirit flowing to that degree is intoxicating , joyous, empowering, and contagious. “And it shall come to pass in that day”, our opening text says. That day is NOW. We are still in the days of the Acts of the person of Holy Spirit: This is That! There is a much needed ”ripple on the water”. God is stirring us up by the wind of the Ruach haKodesh, by the Divine breath of His precious Holy Spirit. Oh, yes! The flow is from the Kingdom of God. Water, soak and saturate the dry places with your Presence, Abba! Across the Body of Christ, we are thirsting for

"The Ripple Effect!"

Grace be with you,

Grace to you, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ,

Are you Kingdom minded? Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, Abba! On earth as it is in heaven. Beloved,if the Kingdom of God is going to manifest in the earth realm, it will manifest through we, His people. We are workers together WITH Him. Why, we are His very Body and the Kingdom of God is in us! There is another dimension in the Kingdom we need to bring to bear on earth. Frankly, it is long past time to stop preaching to the choir and to bring the Kingdom to the world: The lost and unsaved, the oppressed and sick, the back-slidden and prodigal. Our mindset has to expand to the degree that we see the whole wide world as our "congregation." Expect the supernatural! Everywhere! "The harvest is ripe" has never been more in effect. The Great Commission to " Go" is mandatory! ( Mark 16:15) I discern the push of it in the Spirit, for it brings God no pleasure that anyone should die in their sin.

Ezekiel 18:23

Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live.

Souls are in the balance! Recently I learned the "3 D's" of evangelism. The Church is the ecclesia ~ "The called out ones". All Christians are "called" to evangelize. If you are saved and you belong to God , you have been given the ministry of reconciliation, (II Cor. 5: 17-19). "I do not know what my gifting is, what God wants me to do, what my ministry is", you may have said. Yes , you do! You are to reconcile man back to God. Evangelize! Evangelism is not just for the "Evangelist". Be encouraged, evangelism is simply introducing people to Jesus. The five-fold ascension ministry gift of the evangelist is equipped with particular spiritual gifts needed for His or her ministry/office. But, surely we can all tell someone else about the goodness of the Lord in our own lives! I want to share the "3 D's of evangelism: declare God's Truth, display God's love, and demonstrate God's power. Beloved, out of a heart of love speak the Truth to that one who needs God! God's Word is Truth: declare John 3:16 and its truth in YOUR life.Share your testimony! Acts of kindness is a way to display God's love and to tell others about God. Walk in love. And Abba has taught me, through trial and error, to take every opportunity to pray for people. Sometimes, I miss it! One has to develop a sensitivity to subtle request and volunteer, ( "May I pray for you?"), if a person does not outright request prayer. When we pray for others, we let God demonstrate Himself. God moves by His Spirit as the Spirit wills. We do not have to perform, just "declare, display, and demonstrate"! What does this have to do with being a "three dimensional Christian"? It is a play on words: Our "3D's" is not the same as what the world usually thinks of: namely "3-D movies" with their life-like characteristics. And yet there is a connection for the definition of 3-D has to do with 3 dimensions or aspects: length, width,depth/height. As we Saints come to comprehend what is the breadth and length and height and depth and come to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, we are filled with the fullness of God! We move into deeper insight and a full-orbed Christ-likeness and perspective on the Kingdom of God. And we just have to "declare, display, and demonstrate" it to others! Three Dimensional Christians ministering the actual life of God, not " Life-like characteristics". As we approach the new year, my prayer is that we move into a fuller dimension of Christ, manifesting the Kingdom of God far and wide. Church is not the 4 walls of a building on Sunday and a mid-week service. The people of God are the Church Universal. One final thing, the Word must be in us if we are to declare it: Digest the Word! Only when we are out of the way can God's love be on display: Die to self! Let God be glorified. In order to demonstrate the power of God, one must absolutely depend on Him. These action verbs work in tandem. Let us purpose to live a supernatural life out of the Kingdom of God as Three Dimensional Christians!

Thank you, Lord Jesus!

If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             John 15: 4 - 6

Author Mark Twain is credited with the saying, " Why not go out on a limb? That's where all the fruit is.” Twain spoke of risk taking and the rewards that sometimes come from taking a chance. When a person “goes out on a limb”…takes a chance, he or she expects a return, a reward, some sort of fruit for their labors. When we sacrifice, delay gratification, step out in faith hoping for the best, it is because we believe it will pay off sooner rather than later. Something good is going to come from it in the end. If we decide to go back to school, even if it means riding a bus to get there, it is in hope that we will be able to land a better paying job or start a long-term career. When we go out on a limb and tutor a child or just invest ourselves in them in some way, it is because we expect it to bear fruit of improved grades, attitude, or self-esteem. When we go out on a limb, taking a risk, taking a chance it is because, though we are on that shaky limb, we are reaching out for the fruit; Fruit which is sometimes on the tip of the limb. If I could just…grab it! Just a little bit further out…ALLLLmost there! Well, Beloved if you belong to God you are not “out on a limb” or some rickety branch. In fact, you are the branch attached to The Vine: Jesus Christ, and your life is supposed to bear fruit. Yes, our lives DO bear fruit. But, the question is what KIND of fruit? You know a tree by the fruit it bears and as Christians we are to bear the "Fruit of Righteousness" in which we are in right standing, upright before God we should see the fruit of that and, more importantly, so should others! Question: What kind of fruit are you bearing? This is not about judging, this is about fruit inspecting! You know God can speak to us in so many ways. This which I share with you came as I ate lunch at work. I bit into an apple and saw that part of it was brownish. I remembered that I had dropped an apple while grocery shopping. "Even fruit can bruise!", I thought. “Bruised Fruit” Hmmmmmm. I could not see the bruise from the outside. It was only when I got a little closer, inspecting the fruit in a most intimate way, that I saw that it was bruised. We have to examine ourselves and the fruit we are bearing. Is it bruised fruit? Fruit that has somehow been damaged because of the way it is or has been handled? Dear ones,When we receive Christ, we are “born again” of the Spirit of God.

       John 3:6-8

Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

Because we are" Born Again” of the Spirit of God we receive the fruit of the Spirit. And it is absolutely NOT "bruised fruit". God does all things well! But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. (Gal 5: 22- 23). Now why would the Lord mention bruised fruit? Bruised fruit is most often caused by the way the fruit is handled: How are you handling the Spirit of God? It’s His fruit! He is the Giver. Don't "drop" Him! Bruised fruit speaks to a skin that is compromised. Are you compromising? Luke warm? One foot still in the world, the other in the body of Christ? Light has no fellowship with darkness? Examine your fruit! Is it bruised? With bruised fruit, you have to be on the look-out for mold! Are you professing to be a child of God and the fruit you are bearing is moldy! Mold can cover fruit until it begins to decay and shrivel, dry out ~ "dried out" Christianity. God forbid! Bruised, moldy fruit is unsightly, people don’t like the taste of it, it’s mushy, discolored, and it can be unsafe to eat. When we speak of Jesus, our church, etc., people don’t receive it because of damaged fruit. BRUISED FRUIT. People know when we talk the talk, but you don’t walk the walk. So does the Lord. Bruised, spoiled fruit: The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality (Adultery, fornication,) impurity and debaucher (promiscuity); idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God ( Gal. 5:19 - 21 ). Abba Father sends this word because that one with a moldy fruit walk with the Lord is susceptible to infection: There’s something (or someone), that should not be there. It contaminates. One with bruised fruit is vulnerable! Light and darkness have no fellowship. You are saved and we belong to the Lord! Such an one, moldy, opens themselves to the enemy. They give The enemy legal right to oppress and to harass them. You wonder why things are inside out and upside down? Check out what you have around your fruit! Come out from among them! Examine your fruit: Is it bruised? Loose that moldy stuff! They are a hazard to your spiritual health. It may be the pressure of their presence that’s causing the bruise. Let us do some introspective fruit inspection. Ask God to show you. We all have to do that on a regular basis. Let us make sure we are living "the vine life".... Living IN Christ and bearing good fruit by His Spirit.

Barukh atah Adonai, Eloheinu, melekh ha-olam borei p'ri hagafen ~

Blessed are you, Lord our God, Creator of the Universe, who has created the good fruit of the tree. Amein.

                                                      Prime the Pump

Jesus, keep me near the cross,

There a precious fountain-

Free to all, a healing stream-

Flows from Calv'ry's mountain.

Refrain:

In the cross, in the cross,

Be my glory ever.

Till my raptured soul shall find

Rest beyond the river.

Question:  Are you sensing a build up leading to an anticipated change in the mission God has for your life?

I know I am in a transitional season where I can see that God has been "priming the pump" so that He can use me more effectively and more in line with the call upon my life. What about YOU?? I see some spiritual connections in priming a pump: Water pumps will run out of pressure and stop working if turned off for an extended period of time, such as over the winter. In order to get the pump working again, it needs to "primed": water needs to be flushed back into it and forced through in order for it to create enough pressure to begin pumping again. Jesus told us"Out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water." There is purpose, meaning, and ministry in those waters. As the people of God, we are to have waters of life flowing through us. God "primes the pump" so that Living Waters may flow and the pump is primed in the Cross. The water is there, but have we run out of pressure? Are you compelled, is there an urgency, even a burden to get moving in the things of God? If there has been a wintry season of spiritual life or ministry, I want to encourage you to let God prime the pump so that you can flow in the Spirit again. In the natural, the operation called "priming" is when you have to refill the whole system with water. In the things of God our whole being needs to be filled with the Spirit of God! Holy Ghost water pressure is needed!

When one primes a pump, water valves must be opened. There is a power source and there is an independent water source. Let me ask you: Is your heart really OPEN to God and yielded to His Presence and Kingship in your life? REALLY open? Examine yourself: Is your relationship with Him such that you are in connection with Him as your vital necessity? Your power source? Consider your ways: Are Living Waters from beneath the throne of grace, the primary source of water flowing through your being? Just as there are many voices in the world, there are other waters. We are speaking of pure waters. Drink deeply of the Spirit of God for YOURSELF. Thank God for following leaders as they follow Christ, but you must know God for yourself! He alone can prime the pump. It may be in reading the Word, a message from that Godly leader, a prophetic word, the refrain of a hymn, in the sweet hour of prayer, or in circumstances and situations. There is work involved in priming the pump and we are to cooperate with God. Personally, I was to stay faithfully on my assignments. In some ways, it was a test to be passed. While He gave me tokens of encouragement, I was expecting more effective ministry. The thing was, and is, to keep working the assignments right where I am. God is priming the pump! Many times, in difficult situations is where our faith is increased. Don't be discouraged! God is working that pump to draw waters from a deep well. The whole time He is applying the needed pressure, drawing out the living waters. His hand in yours and mine awaiting the bursting forth of giftings, the anointing, the Kingdom! When I think of priming the pump, I can almost hear the squeaking of the lever, crying out for oil. The oil of the anointing of God! It may not necessarily be comfortable to the flesh because those "healing streams" flow from Calvary's mountain: Crucifying the flesh. Stay "In the Cross"! He is preparing you to flow! Psalm 1 reads that when we meditate on His Word we are like a tree planted by rivers of water, yielding fruit and whatever we do will prosper. His leaves shall not wither! And one thing about it, when those waters flow, it will edify that one through whom they flow and it will bless others God wants them to refresh. Refreshing waters and fruit of the Spirit. We cannot afford to be dry in the Spirit with withered leaves. The Body of Christ is only so strong as the members of which it is made. We all need to be "wet" in the Spirit. It speaks to life! God forbid that we should be a "dead" church! Thirst after God and pursue Him. That precious fountain is "free to all". Amen. Embrace that divine restlessness you may be experiencing: You are being primed for a transition! Stay right where you are: In God's perfect will. I think I hear the water now.......

Grace, mercy, and peace,

Prophetess Vickie Lee

Reset

Master Reset

Recently,I heard a television commentator say that this fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic is a “great leveling field”. The shuttering of schools and businesses, the roller coaster ride on Wall Street, the unemployment, even the sorrow of illness and death has been stunning. Many have seen over-night changes they never imagined. I can see how it could be seen as a leveling field. But, Abba has been dropping into my Spirit that this season is a reset. He did not say a restart or a reboot, but a reset.  It is a reset both in the natural, but most especially in the Spirit. It’s so much bigger than financial markets and the such. A reset is an act or instance of setting, adjusting, or fixing something in a new or different way: as in to reset priorities. Or a broken bone. It brings to mind the vision that Ezekiel had of the valley of dry bones (Ezekiel 37).

Ezekiel 37

1The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,

2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.

3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest.

The dry bones in Ezekiel’s vision are the people of God. The vision of Ezekiel continues with a prophecy of resurrection and restoration for God’s people. That is what the reset is: resurrection and restoration, but not just for us. The reset is to profoundly impact the world. The world is being impacted in this pandemic. Now, for a God-impact through the people of God. Yes, there is a reset in the Spirit! To what end? That the Lord might be glorified! The people of God have a hope! There is hope for God’s people, there is hope for the Church universal and these dry bones will live again. For the Lord, even “The Great Physician” has done a reset! In the natural world there is a process for resetting fractured, broken, separated bones. It must be done because the bone WILL heal whether or not a physician resets it in its anatomical position. If the bone is not reset correctly, the healing process will keep the bone in its deformed position. What does all of this have to do with the Body of Christ? Scripture tells us we ARE members of his body, flesh, and of his bones! The Bible reads that the Lord loves his Church as a husband loves his wife. The “Bride of Christ” can no longer be fractured. No more schisms in the body!

Ephesians 5

25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

Your Bride worships you, oh God! We may holler we are healed, but are we healed in a deformed position? Because we were not SET correctly. Man-called and set instead of God-set. If we have gone through the process, (and it IS a process), where are the wonder works of a healed AND whole body? Individually and corporately. Lord help us to be “holy and without blemish” as you have called us to be. By the Spirit of God and in the power of the Holy Ghost. Thank God, in his gracious goodness for a reset! We can live again.Yes, Church, there is a PROCESS to reset fractured bones. In the natural, It requires a doctor to manipulate the broken ends of the bone into their original position and fix them in place. We serve a hands-on God! The Lord wants to restore his Bride, his Church to her original position in him that he might be truly glorified. That is a MASTER reset, glory to God, from the Master! That may not always be comfortable. The patient may feel a pressure or a crunching sensation as the bones are reset is what I learned in my research about bone resets. We the Church, too, will most assuredly be taken out of our comfort zone of traditions of man, stagnancy, and legalism. Change and reset is not easy. We ought to be able to feel, hear and see the change. One of the steps in resetting a bone is called external fixation. It is sort of a brace which functions to retain the integrity of bone structures (such as the hand) after a serious injury. Without fixation, long-term or even permanent restriction of movement can happen. Transfer that on over to the Spirit, Beloved! The Body of Christ, “the glorious Church”, the Bride of Christ MUST be able to MOVE as the Spirit leads in this hour, season and dispensation. Liberty! Free in Jesus even as our external fixation is being bound in the Spirit as was the Apostle Paul. It is Holy Spirit who braces and supports us. And the Bride of Christ must move with integrity and not be “loosey-goosey” in the things of God. The real-deal: integrity and authenticity. Oh, Lord thank you for the reset! For we are of YOUR bones. Be open to the Lord’s “ fixation” of your particular place in his Body. “ ...For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. We are one and every “bone” and member has its valuable place. The broken bones I wrote of earlier need to be in position including the “hand” of the five-fold ascension gifts of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher. I do not know about you, but I am not trying to dictate to GOD how to set the bones of the Body of Christ! "But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him." 1 Cor. 12:18. That is God’s business. I DO want to be a part of the reset! Remember, a reset is setting, adjusting, or fixing something in a new or different way. God! HOWEVER you want to do it in Jesus’ Name and by your Spirit! Perfect us. Mature us for the work of the ministry. Be glorified, Lord! As it pleases you, set, anoint, REset those you gave and sent!

Ephesians 4

11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

We are in world-wide trying times right now, Beloved of God. But there is a sense of excitement and expectation because of the opportunity of God’s reset. We cannot come into the stature of the fulness of Christ except we let God DO the “new thing”...the reset we have all been confessing we desire for the past twenty years! “God has a remnant”, “Send The latter Rain!”, “God, do a NEW thing, “Refresh us...reVIVE us oh, Lord! “. Okay! You know what I am talking about. That has been our heart cry. It is time to see that come to pass. This is a reset! This little bone wants to be placed in her spot that pleases God. How about you? Reset us! Yes, Lord!

Let us be willing for God to reset our priorities. Let us get back to our priority, our first love in submitted, committed obedience. The Lord God Himself is our priority as a faith community and as his Bride. Can we agree and purpose to get out of the way that He might adjust us in our very being so that He CAN do a new thing in us, for us, and THROUGH us? My prayer is that the people of God be reset even as a plant that is replanted so that we “might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified.“ Isaiah 61:3 According to Isaiah, reset "trees of righteousness" proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, comfort all that mourn to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. My God, that is so needed in this earth! One who has been given a Master reset by the Lord, “ ...shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations. I believe in this instance of setting, adjustment, and fixing in a new way a different way, and that in the current reset, as Isaiah the Prophet wrote, “ ...ye shall be named the Priests of the Lord: men shall call you the Ministers of our God…”

Bound In The Spirit

Posted on April 7, 2019 at 8:05 PM

Bound in the Spirit

And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there; Acts 20:22

Apostle Paul did not know the things that would befall him in Jerusalem, but Holy Spirit of God surely did! Because Paul was bound in the Spirit, he could rest in the fact that in his obedience to the leading of the Spirit of God, his steps were being ordered. Paul was so steeped in the Presence of God that he saw himself as “a prisoner of Christ Jesus” for the cause of Christ. Yoked up with the Lord! When one is in sync with the Lord to that degree

he or she MUST obey the Spirit. Two oxen yoked together, joined at the head or neck, walk in tandem if they are to reach their destination. Do you know why his “yoke is easy and his burden light’? Because God is pulling the heavy load of whatever our situation may be WITH us! Teamwork! For the Bible says we are to be workers together WITH God. Whatever our ministry may be, by the grace of God, do as Paul did and be “bound in the Spirit”. In the intimacy of the yoke, mouth to ear, we get direction, guidance, strength, power, and help. My God, we get comfort from the Comforter the Lord sent when we are bound in the Spirit! For He is Elohei Khol Nechamah, “The God of all Comfort” (2 Cor 1:3” I just sort of see the covering of Holy Spirit of God as in the picture above. Oh! To walk with God like that! In another Bible version, bound in the Spirit is interpreted as “impelled by a sense of duty”. It’s our reasonable service to be about our Father’s business, is it not? Understand, Abba Father does not FORCE us. Even when the burden of the Lord comes upon one, the Lord would remind us that, by his grace, “My burden is light and easy to be borne.” When one is bound in the Spirit, he or she can do all things. All of it through Christ Jesus! No, the “sense of duty” is not a drudgery. To be bound in the Spirit...drawn irresistibly, by him, is to be captive to the Spirit and very sensitive to him. It is out of love, the Lord’s love for US, for He loved us FIRST, warts and all, and our love for HIM that we are as Paul, wrote, “ obligated and compelled by the convictions of my own spirit”, to obey. Paul HAD to go to Jerusalem not knowing what to expect. “If you love me, keep my commandments.” John 14:15. Obey me. Follow directions. We New Testament Christians, too, are to be constrained by, in obedience to, “bound in the Spirit”. It’s something we have to practice, in small ways and large ways. Then comes the syncing with the Spirit. Then comes an ear to hear his voice and because of close proximity to him, that “smearing” of oil, the yoke destroying anointing of God. Glory to God, yoke destroying power comes because of being yoked WITH the Lord. In this season, my focus has been to just focus on my love relationship with the Lord and ministering to him. Everything else is in his hands. It is so liberating! He is absolutely sovereign, and there’s nothing anyone can do to thwart his plans and purposes. They will come to pass in spite of us, not because of anything we do. It is no good thing WE do. It is not us, it is Him!

I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Isaiah 42:8

Beloved, we have no bragging rights. Glory in the Lord, and like the Apostle Paul, walk out your life and run your race all wrapped up in the Spirit. Hallelujah, And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men. Keep this in mind as you do: The Word of God is NOT bound, and there is no distance in the Spirit. What a powerful combination to be be bound in the Spirit, wielding the two-edged sword of the Spirit: the Word of God. The child of God who is compelled by the Spirit and using the "sword of his mouth" by speaking the Word is operating out of the Kingdom of God. In this hour, that kind of Christ-centered power and authority is mandatory! I want to exhort you to seek God's face and an even closer walk with him.  Be captivated by him!

Greater Is He That Is In Us

Posted on January 18, 2018 at 12:50 AM

Grace, mercy and peace to you!,

It occurs to me that we are exactly one week away from a traditional fall holiday which focuses on ghouls, and death and monsters. Most folks don't think about the spirit and history behind the "holiday" or that is a high holy day for some who worship the adversary. It is just a day to dress up and pass out candy. Over the years I have seen more decorations of homes on the level of Christmas decorations, but the theme is death, not life. People love holidays and the excitemment of it all! It makes them feel somewhat happy, even alive. I realize we walk in the light we have. We have The Light, The Lord Jesus Christ, and greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world! Jesus alone is the source of life! Let us be prayerful, and ready to tell others the reason for our Hope of Glory: Jesus. There are souls who simply do not know or understand the underlying spiritual implications of October 31st. We are called to intercede, stand in the gap for them .Most especially this week and as always:

Watch and pray!

Running Our Race

Hebrews 12:1-2

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

Praise the Lord, people of God!

This passage of scripture was very recently discussed in a theology class I am taking.

The phrase that was pertinent to me had to do with running with endurance the race that is set before us. That is so where I am right now! What has God called me to do, (what has He called YOU to do?), and am I cooperating with God?? We are to be fixed having within our sights, what our goal is. And God almighty! Make sure the "goal" is from God. There is a peace that comes when one realizes that if he or she is in God's perfect will, Come what may, " I am right where God wants me. Things may seem odd, but God will get the glory out of this situation." The secret things belong to God, and He is handling every aspect of your surrendered and obedient life. What are you worried about? Run your race! A race is hard and a race requires something. There will be exertion, energy expended, you may think you have "hit the wall". It takes much endurance. But hold on, your second breath is coming! And that is a Divine Breath, another Helper: Holy Spirit. What a blessing to know we do not run our race on our own. I have been having thoughts of staying in my lane, doing what God has called me to do, in concert with Abba Father and others I am assigned to in co-ministry or to actually minister to. That's it! All else is in God's hands. He IS God and I am not. The freedom within the borders or parameters of entering into his rest is awesome. There is liberty within the boundaries of God and is Word! The more I obey Him, the more freedom I have. The goal and his will for our lives is in that Word! In order for the specifics of YOUR race which is set before you to come to pass, keep pressing into deeper, fuller relationship with Him, and obey Him. Keep the focus, run your race! We are not competing one with another. It's all we can do to keep ourselves on track by the Spirit of God! But we ARE a team. The Body of Christ, fitly joined together, each part working properly, builds the body up in love. So, as I do what I am to do for God and you do what YOU are to do for God, we all benefit. A built-up body runs a better "race" from the greeter at the door to the set-man or woman. And God gets the glory! Our scripture says this brings him joy and it is because it is a reflection of Him. God loves to see you run your God-ordained race! Let's purpose to do just that! God is cheering us on...... Amen.

A Balm in Gilead

A Balm in Gilead

Is there no balm in Gilead?

Is there no physician there?

Jeremiah 8:22

Praise the Lord, Beloved of God,

Sometimes it can all be a bit much, can't it? We live such busy, full lives! I have many irons in the fire and the only way to keep things going is to draw on the Lord. Take tonight for instance. There are a few deadlines approaching and they all seem to want to be the priority. I turned to the Lord, "God oil the gears of my being". I could feel a peace, a calm come over me. Abba soothed me! The "Balm in Gilead" I thought. A balm... it is a soothing, healing ointment. Just what was needed for the scratchy, inflamed places. For, you see, a balm soothes an irritation. I am all right now! I can handle it now! The Great Physician Himself is my medicine. We have to look to the hills from which comes our help. Our help comes from the Lord! Stop right in the midst of whatever ails you and get back centered in Him. Discern his hovering, peaceful Presence right now ! Soothing...healing, Amen. Thank God for Jesus! Verse 19 of Jeremiah asks," Is the LORD not in Zion? Is her King not in her?" Come on, Zion! You know God is with us. And He told me years ago, " I am in the details of your life". No matter how minute or inconsequential you may think it is, God cares for you! God is with you right where you are as the Balm in Gilead. KNOW that and be encouraged. Amen.

Soul peace,

Prophetess Vickie

Theme One: The Kingdom

Theme One: The Kingdom

Kingdom greetings!

The sixth-grade reading anthology for my students is broken down into six themes. The stories within fit themes such as "Growing Up" or "Courage"( Those themes might be good for US, too). Abba seems to have a "theme" in effect. I have re-read some of my postings and teachings and I see a common thread of The Kingdom running through them. The Kingdom of God within and living/ministering out of the Kingdom is what Abba has been emphasizing. I wrote HE has put the emphasis on the Kingdom! Theme One: The Kingdom. When I teach my students I am either introducing a new skill/concept or they are expected to master a concept they were introduced to in a previous grade. I may have to re-teach, refresh, spiral back and/or practice said skill. But I am to keep at it, as are my students. No Child Left Behind. In a way, that is what Abba Father is doing as he sometimes has me re-visit The Kingdom in some way. He wants us to really get it in our spirits. You may be asking, "Why?". Because it is long past time to come out of spiritual elementary school and graduate into The Kingdom. Are we not ready to do the "greater works" promised us?

John 14:12

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greaterworks than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

Abba Father has much to teach us but are we ready? He is nudging us onward to a deeper and fuller maturity:

Hebrews 6:1-3 (Amplified Bible)

THEREFORE LET us go on and get past the elementary stage in the teachings and doctrine of Christ (the Messiah), advancing steadily toward the completeness and perfection that belong to spiritual maturity. Let us not again be laying the foundation of repentance and abandonment of dead works (dead formalism) and of the faith [by which you turned] to God, With teachings about purifying, the laying on of hands, the resurrection from the dead, and eternal judgment and punishment. [These are all matters of which you should have been fully aware long, long ago.] If indeed God permits, we will [now] proceed [to advanced teaching].

I do not know about you, but I want God to advance and mature me! If The Teacher says review and re-teach, so be it. Abba Father is saying seek out The Kingdom! I am purposed to post or write out teachings that He drops in my spirit, and this is the theme. The Kingdom is foundational for what we are called to do in this world:

Luke 9:1 - 3

Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.

And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

Let us obey God and pursue the release of The Kingdom of God within. In Jesus' name, Amen!
